Left a voice mail message. Said they were Internal Revenue Services (note the final 's') - not the real IRS. Said they were going to file a lawsuit against me regarding my taxes unless I called them back
Received a call from 729-594-6524 and the voicemail said call back 360-362-4254 and it is the IRS and a lawsuit. While I have never been contacted by the IRS for something as ridiculous as this, I doubt they would call (and leave a message).
SCAM
Received a call saying it was the IRS and they were calling to give final notice that they were filing a lawsuit against us and to call back at the following number: 360-362-4254. Clearly this is not how the IRS operates and this is a scam. I hope no one is scared into calling the number back.
Received two calls that left 360-362-4254 as the number to call back. Each message was a recording saying that it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. This is an obvious scam yet quite annoying. The IRS will not contact you this way, and if taxes were owed, I would have known before now.
