Received a phone call from Northampton, MA (413-586-5557) with an automated message claiming to be the IRS. Stated that they had been trying to reach us and this was the final call; that the IRS would be filing a lawsuit against us. Instructed us to call 360-362-4254.
Me, too. Only after I attempted a call where there was no answer did it occur that this had to be a nuisance call. If they wanted to give me a stroke, they almost succeeded!
I just got a call but in the criptic message they said that I was getting a lawsuit for unpaid taxes, I called the voicemail and it is a scam. I know I have no issues with taxes and this call was left at my mothers house and she was worried, Don't cval;l this number they are trying to get personal info and will rob you
