Someone called from this number on my cell phone. Caller ID said "Washington". I didn't answer, but was left with an automated message stating that officers would arrive at my home in the next 24 hours unless I called them back and paid off a debt. WOW, how can people think they can get away with this type of SCAM!?
Early this morning I got a call on my cell phone from Castel Rock WA. A male recording said "this is the IRS & you are being charged with criminal activity & a warrant has been issued for your arrest unless you call this # back immediately." They are trying to get people to give them their SS #'s & bank acct. #'s. so I reported the call & blocked them. A few minutes later I got a call form the same #, only this time they put it as +36 & call said it was coming from the country of Hungary! This time a female voice recording saying to call them back unless I wanted to go to jail! LOL!! I hope no one falls for these scammers & wish they could be stopped.

I just received a call and was told this is the final notice that the IRS is filing suit against me. I was told to cal 360-362-4673. My heart was racing. I called from my office and the line was busy. The call showed it was from Washington DC. I found this site and immediately felt better. I am glad you are posting what these people are doing.
