I just got a call from 726-593-6594 leaving me a message to call 360-362-4730. The message said: "Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Services. The reason of this call is to inform you the IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately our department number 360-362-4730. I repeat, 360-362-4730." OMG I about freaked out so I thought I would Google the number and guess what I found this forum where others have been contacted by the same scammers. Man they really need to prosecute these jerks. What if an elderly person got this call, it would about kill them.
I got the exact same message. I knew it was a scam but feel sorry for older people or people who do owe the IRS and it probably is so stressful for them!
I received a call that originated from 634-296-5748. Checking into that number I found that it is an "Invalid number" or "no results". Message was same as above: "Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Services. The reason of this call is to inform you the IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately our department number 360-362-4730. I repeat, 360-362-4730."
I received the same phone message - the caller left 360-362-4730 as the number to call back. They call daily and my caller id shows INTERNATIONAL 800-618-2305 & 413-187-5587. I wish I were home to answer this call - they would clearly understand my ENGLISH - OH yeah, the IRS is calling me, someone who hasn't worked in 10 yrs! Idiots.
