i just got the same phone call and called family to get the 245 $ they said it's probably a scam so i called the lady back at 3603694375 and when i suggested scam she hung up on me.
I just got the same call from a gentleman name "Steve" He gave me a number to contact an "Amy" his Supervisor to approve the transaction to deposit $7000 into Western Union. The number to "Amy" is 360-369-4375 and whenever you dial that number it rings once or twice only for a busy signal to come on in your ear. Thank God my bank infor was not given.
I received a call from 3603694375- Robert from verifiction, stating that I received a grant from the government andthat I should call back that number...The caller had a strong East Indian accent.
Concerned that this is a scam and to get my identity information, I am reluctant to give out any information.
they called me too. they gave me 3 options to either deposit into my checking or savings or to my debit card which makes no sense or cash through western union . i acted like i was going to western union and would call herb when i get there. i then called the 360-369-4375 number from different phones. i called and asked about the program name and who was i speaking with and she got really rude and hung up on me. i called from another number saying i was from the philadelphia consumer affairs dept. and she told me [***] YOU [***] and hung up."VERY PROFESSIONAL for a goverment employee. i then called from the phone she was calling me on and she answered and asked where i was . i told her i was at western union but i called her a scamming [***] and i was coming to her with the police she said ughh you [***] [***] and hung up. whatever number you call these people from and tell them you know its a scam they block that number.
