You should NEVER give out your Bank Account#'s or Soc.Sec. #'s, Birth date, etc. to anyone! Being in Banking all of my working life, even your Bank will NOT ask you for any of that Info on the phone. Maybe passwords etc. but not your personal Info. they already have all that! Be Careful ...another Foreign Country buying up phone #'s in the U.S. to make it look like they are from America, but they are not ! Again they think we are all Stupid Americans! If you didn't apply for these grants , or enter the Lottery, why did you Win?? Warn People especially your older relatives, they are too trusting! One older customer at the bank I was working for came in and wanted to withdraw $5000. because some guy said he won a lottery (he didn't enter) and he had to pay for his Parade!!! WTF! and this guy was actually coming to his house to collect it ! how do these people sleep at night !
I got a call on my cell phone which came up as 202-000-0000. After listening to his talk, which was we had been selected to receive 7,000 in cash if I called the number 301-685-6172. When I did not call that number about 10 minutes later I got another phone call asking me if I called the previous number and that second phone call came from the number above. Which came up on my caller id as 360-406-4715.
Go no information on who they were but know it was a scam.
Unknown number from Washington, I let it go to voicemail. Computerized female msg said something about grant money and gave number to call 3604064715. Not calling scammers.
