"National Dealer Service" claims to represent the manufacturer as well as the dealership where you purchased your car (they cited year, make and model, but would not say the dealership name). They don't represent either, and my dealership confirms this. It is a scam to sell you a service plan by misrepresenting themselves as something they are not. BIG SCAM!
Nat'l Dealer Service called to give me a "Final" notice that I need to take action on my warranty. They didn't know my 2010 was purchased in 2009, or where it was purchased. Just another warranty scam I would say.
confirmed with dealer, bogus call. they get the information from records at the DMV and start calling. Total scam. The first time they called I wasn't sure if they were really from the dealership so when I started asking very specific and pointed questions, they couldn't answer. They just kept trying to tell me the extended contract purchased for the vehicle was up. I call the dealership immediately afterwards and they confirmed no one called me from there, contract was sound and it was a scam in the area they had learned of.
