I just bought a new car and have received a number of calls from unrecognized numbers (I don't pick up and they don't leave messages). It's very helpful to see these posts and know that there is a scam out there for people who have recently purchased new vehicles. Thanks everyone!
The caller hung up when I told them to mail me the information for a warranty to look over. He knew the make and year of car I have and said I needed to extend the warranty. Obviously a scam. Very irritating. Hope they catch him.
Got a call saying my warranty was up. It's not (I have years left on it) and when I told them their information was incorrect, they hung up. Called the dealer and confirmed it's a scam.
This number called me and I didn't answer because I didnt recognize it. They left no message when I didn't answer and then when I called the number back there was a recording to press '1' to have it put on a do not call basis?
