The number 360-450-3952 has finally been shutdown by Level 3 Communications as of today 12/10/2012 for it's fraud activity. In your face Clinton, Gary, Ashley, and Rick (all fake names used at Alpha PC Care)!!! One point for the good guys. Oh, I know this doesn't shut you down completely, but I told you this number would no longer be in operation soon.
If you identify a number that is being used in a scam operation, you can leverage your local phone company to identify if they, or some other phone company, owns the number. Then you can report to their fraud division, as I did, and they will look into the issue. In this case, they determined that the number was being used for illegal activity (which was pretty obvious) and they blocked it. Nice!!
Received a call from someone that identified himself as Victor Smith with Microsoft Operating Systems. Long story short, he's with a company called Alpha PC Care. Then he said they work FOR Microsoft. I did a quick search and saw that it is a scam to get your bank info. I told him he was a scammer and to not call back.
Justin Jones from Alpha PC called one of our clients trying to scare him into giving access to his computer. He claims to work for Microsoft and wants to fix a specific issue that we're not qualified to do. Googled and confirmed was scammer. Number is 3604503952
