Received text indicating that I had won an iPad and to go to www.apple.com.ca.llhj.net to enter code IWIN to claim. The text came in at 1:02 am. Other sites claim this is from Cingular Wireless out of Bellingham in Washington state and is a scam.
I called Apple to inquire and they confirmed they are aware of it and are working on fixing the problem. They are confirming it did not come from their site.

received a call on pay phone from 360-471 and gave message i won Apple Pad and enter code IWIN - it brought me to a company called Ziinga Shopping. I had entered my email address - should i be concerned; i have now blocked that company name
Got a call from 3604713009 telling me I won an IPAD this was on Aug 10 I did not respond except to this site sooooo!!!!!!!! please put a stop to the phony calls to my cell phone or send me my IPAD the call came from 360-471-3009 is this your #
Yep. I recieved this too, this morning. It is clearly a scam because there are so many people claiming to have "won" the free iPad that does not exist.
