This is the 3rd time I've reported this type of call. Different numbers each time. After I report the calls they stop for a couple of weeks and then they start up again with a different call back number. Looks like something could be done to stop these criminals. Surely, nobody is stupid enough to fall for this scam!!!!
Called yesterday. Credit card debt reduction. I pressed 1 to speak to a "representative." He asked me how much credit card debt I had, and I replied, "Uh, I dunno." He responded with, "Go back to La-la land," and I replied that's my wish. Clearly irritated him almost as much as he irritated me.
3/26/2012 This number called and I was waiting for a call so I answered it not looking. It was a recording saying they have mailed me several notices on my credit card and bla bla bla, I needed to talk to them right away. I hung up and reported them to the Do not call list. The more people who turn these people in the better chance it will stop so report them to http://donotcall.com/
