I am so tired of getting these calls. Starting pushing the button to talk to a representative and then blowing a whistle in their ear. If the calls do not stop, I am getting an air horn.
This company calls with a recording claiming to be your credit card company and has a final offer for lowering your interest rates. They are clearly a scam as the legitimate card company will not call this way. The caller places a call with an automated dialer and nobody on the line when the phone is answered, and with a recorded message and nobody on the phone when the call is answered. Bot of which are illegal - even if they weren't calling a number registered on the Do Not Call list.
Received a call from this number today. Caller ID simply listed it as "Lower Interest Rates." Left no message, and I don't answer number I don't recognize. . . . Seems like it does no good to register on the government's "Do Not Call List."
I got a call from this number at least a hundred times, this time I pushed one and a real people or should I say an [***] got on the phone, asked them to remove my number I am also on the dncl. He started dont you want to to lower your rates I told him I have no credit cARDS, and his response was "then stop pressing the number one" and hung up the phone.
Has anyone ever tried answering the call and acting dumb once someone answers. If you are not busy, it may be worthwhile wasting their time and having a little fun at their expense.
