Just received a call from them as well. Pressed "1" to speak to operator, told them to take me off the list as I am on the Do Not Call list & she said "No, you are not," laughed & hung up. I just filed a complaint with the National Registry.
CID says 'Financial Ctr' today [I wonder what it will say tomorrow]. These same lowlifes also call from 360-474-3983, which I have already blocked. And now I have blocked this one also. I keep a list of the numbers I have blocked. WOW it does no good to get on the DNC list. In fact, the scam calls have gotten much worse since I joined it! (I wonder if their data base has been compromised-wouldn't surprise me!!
I reported "Financial Center" on 12 June, just in case my complaint ever gets read (206-496-0935). I just received another phone call from these losers using a different phone number (360-474-3977). Since the you-know-what hung up on me the first time, before I could even finish the sentence "I'm on the Do Not [CLICK]," I decided to try a different strategy. I expressed an interest and asked for the company's name. "Christi" said the name was "Card Services." I asked if they have a website and she said they did not. She started to get sassy with me. I asked how she got my information and she said that I was "put up for review by Equifax." Just to be clear, she didn't mean Equifax gave them my info; however, a sucker would probably hear Equifax and think "Card Services" is legit. She was basically saying that I was eligible for them to run a check on my credit using Equifax. IN OTHER WORDS...they are looking for suckers who will give out their social security numbers. Something MUST be done about this! I told her she seemed a bit sassy and that I wanted to speak to her manager. She told me she WAS the manager. I told her I could tell by the hesitation in her voice that she was lying. When I told her she must have a supervisor, unless she's the CEO, she hung up. I'll figure these people out eventually using my mad research and analytical skills. I'm on a mission and very determined.
I get calls from the number (360-474-3977) at least once a week but I never hear a anyone on the other line nor a recording. I have blocked this number!
