Received a call from 360-474-3977 today and CID "HFCA". I answered the call and pressed "1" for a real person. When a woman got on the line I asked her why they're calling here when no one has any credit cards, the phone went dead. I called the number back and found out that its some kind of organization and pressed "1" to have our number removed from their list. I know it won't happen, so I am going to the National Do Not Call website and file a complaint.
I get these credit card calls to lower my interest rates and I don't even have a card. No way to stop them. 3-4 a week. Even the"do not call list" has had no effect over the last year or so.
Got a call today from "Card Services". CID displayed "HFCA 3604743977". Since my credit card company (a known bank) uses the same name, Card Services, for paying by check, I thought that perhaps the call had something to do with my credit card but also thought it odd that I don't recall receiving 3 notices of some correspondence from Card Services. So I decided to check it out and find out more about who this company is and why they are contacting me by phone. I pressed "1" to speak to a live person, who asked me "are you interested in signing up?" I answered "not really, but what company is this......" That's when the woman on the other end of the phone hung up on me. Clearly this is a scam and we need to do something to stop this company, fine them, or put them out of business, before some people become victims of these unscrupulous cams like this.
