Same as above, I receive a call. Pressed 1 to speak with an operator. I asked what it was in reference to. Guy with a strong Indian accent. Said he wanted to lower my interest rate to 6.9% but needed my expiration date on card. I asked what card and he said "Capital One Chase Visa." Unless a merger happened i didn't hear about its defiantly a scam. I called my banks and they are putting my cards on watch.
These calls are definitely scams and calling cell phones - and in listening to the recording it says press 1 to speak to an operator and press 2 to discontinue notices - just pressed 2 to be removed and received another call less than 10 minutes later from the same scammer but using a different number - this time pressed 1 and was disconnected.
I got a call from this number early in the morning. They hung up after 2 rings and didn't leave a message. Actually I'm thankful they called, since I missed my alarm and they woke me up.
Got a call at 8:51 Eastern time. The number showed as Vancouver, WA but since I assumed it was a sales call or something I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.
