ITL or Out of Area calls from 1-360-515-3882 come in daily to my unlisted home phone between 10-40 times/day. I have Caller ID, Anonymous Call rejection and Privacy Manager. It does not help.
Sometimes they call and when my machine answers, they call back over and over within seconds of the last call. Then it goes on every 10-15 minutes. What upsets me most is the calls begin between 4-6 AM in the morning, wake me up and terrify me: I am a female living alone.
If I answer, they hang up. If I call back, I get a busy signal. A few times I answer and use profanities and have screamed at them telling them to LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP CALLING AND TO GO TO "HECK". Other times I turn off my machine, and the phone will ring nonstop from morning until I am sleeping at night. Its destroying my life. I am registered on the do no call list of the US government.
I have cried, screamed, begged, yelled, told them they have the wrong number, told them to STOP calling. The calls persist and I am powerless. IT IS SAD. I'm a veteran LAWYER and I want to rip the phone out of the wall because these people are slowly killing me and I feel like a VICTIM. How ridiculous is THAT? There must be a way and if I can NAIL THEM, I will do anything.
THis caller called me saying that he is from union telecom and and sold long distance plan. He gave me some access numbers and that does not work.
When I called the union telecom they said there is no plan and I am not in their system.
Be aware
I just got a call from this number as well. This is the first time I have recieved a call from them, but it was the same thing as you are saying, when I call back it's busy. That's just wierd.
Has anyone submitted anything on monster.com...this may be where they are getting the information from. I have been getting calls from that number ever since I submitted information on that website. Just a thought.
Got a call tonight on my cell phone. He said he was from US Pharmacy and that they were calling their "customers" because they had a sale - I haven't had any prescriptions in about 10 years, so I know i am not a customer. Then he asked me if I was on any medications. Like I would tell some stranger on the phone if I was. I told him to remove my number immediately.
It definitely sounded like he was from some overseas calling center. I wonder since there are complaints about grants, pharmacies, long distance and travel schemes if this number is some type of "routing" number or something for an offshore calling center?
