I tried calling the main office, got some woman who said the number isn't theirs. I asked, given the number is listed to ITL, and lists with ITL as a carrier/service provider, if there's anything the company is doing to investigate who's behind the fraudulent use of their company name. She said no and to take it up with my telephone company. I don't think i should have to pay $2 a month to block these [***].
Maybe if enough people call ITL and complain, they'll figure it out, or cut it out if it's actually them and the woman who answered the phone today was full of [***]. (I haven't bothered going to the CEO about it yet)
This number shows up numerous times on my call I.D. The few times I've answered, there is unually a long pause without an answer.
I would like to report them.
It seems like alot of these posts are made by American Residents. I am in Canada and we are getting the same calls up here. Not as frequently. Someone called today and said they were from Union Telecom. I asked them why they are calling. She said she didn't understand. I slowed down and asked why they keep calling. Silence. Then the hang up. Once a day for the last month or so. I am glad my phone company offers free call blocking!!!!!!
Monster.com is giving out our info to ITL. I started getting calls from them day after I signed up with Monster. I answered and someone asked for me, since I always google any number I don't recognize and started reading about them while talking to the idiot... after 5 mins I told him thank you so much for staying online with me this long, now I got your infomation and you will be contact by FBI... hanged and never called back .. hummmmm. I'm going to have a little chat with Monster.com now ...
