Same as everyone else. Got half a message stating if they didn't hear from me they would take legal action. I tend to Google every unknown number. Glad to know this is a scam.
They claim to be irs trying to scam you out of money. They are people with a strong accent you can tell there not from the us. Don't fall for it. It's never calls people.
Called from number 360-525-3218. it was a recording claiming to be the IRS saying there was a claim against me and to call the number to get it resolved. The IRS will not call via the phone....they send correspondance through the mail. Second time I have had a call from this number...horrible people.
Exact same as above. Federal case against me, etc etc. To me it sounded like a computerized voice, not an accent, but one of those unconvincing computer voice programs that is hard to understand.
This number left message, and I called back. They said that my return has been audited five years, and my schedule A was done incorrectly. The gentleman said that my return preparation was fraudulent, and that there are three federal warrants for my arrest, do I want to settle now for $1,986.73, or go to court.
