Same as everyone else. Got half a message stating if they didn't hear from me they would take legal action. I tend to Google every unknown number. Glad to know this is a scam.
Same number called me saying I have 3 federal charges against me and that my identity is under investigation. Tried calling back but the line Was busy both times.
I called this number and was told i owed money to the irs. Well they are such a nice bunch they offered to handle it all for me. Wow am i glad they called. All i had to do was send them 2985.00 that was much cheaper than a lawyer. So one quick transfer from my bank account , that they did for me, and i am safe. I am so glad they kept me out of jail. I am just so happy they did not need any info on the Nigerian, gold i have on the way or the load of cash a banker said we are going to get once the fee for import are paid. . My life is so good.
Yeah - ain't life grand! I'll bet you also had some nice Jamaican man call you with the excellent news that you are a big winner in Publisher's Clearing House too. Bet you can't wait for that windfall to come through, of course, after you pay the ever-so-minimal "processing fee" ;-)
Was told that I owed $2900 in taxes and that the federal government had a federal case against me (2 charges). They told me they sent a statement a few months ago and that I needed to find that paperwork and they wouldn't be sending me any more information. I said a few choice words and hung up. Also added the phone number to my auto reject list on my mobile.
