Been getting the same message twice daily for a week. What crazy is, you would think that if someone was going to go to the trouble of scamming you, they would do a better job of making the recording a little more convincing. It's like those email scams from West Africa where the grammer isn't even 5th grade level.
just received this call today. they left a message stating that we had 24 working hours before local cops take action regarding taxes and left a number to call to "discuss". It was a "robo" call scam message, as the IRS mentions on their web site cautioning tax payers against scams. Thank you for this site and all your posts.
I have 2 calls, first from a man second a woman, both stating I had 25 hours to call or legal action was going to happen. Thought it was funny they said "the cops" we're going to come. A real company would say a police office or a patrol person. Ridiculous!
