They are criminals -- teleSCAMMERS not telemarketers. They can't lower your interest rate, this is a well known SCAM, they just take your money, usually hundreds of dollars if they can find a sucker, you know, someone who doesn't know the difference between a telemarketer and a teleSCAMMER.
But you're right, at least terrorists don't call us on the phone.
I got a call from the same number yesterday, I kept them on the phone for over 7 hours, just lying to them about everything I could think of. They called again this morning, I started to do the same thing and the person told me to "F" off then hung up...
who owns this number? I just received a call from this # but missed the call and they left no message. I DO NOT OWE ANY OUTSTANDING DEBTS, but from reading this website, I'm getting the feeling that this is what and who is calling me from this number. Anyone ever find out who they are?
You can block their number from calling your cell phone... at least with Verizon.
On their MyVerizon.com website you can block 5 numbers for free for 90 days.
But you can renew them over and over or pay a fee to block them forever.
