Numerous calls from this number regarding lowering my interest rate on credit cards. When I push "1" to try to see if I can find out who they are, the phone hangs up.
Card Services, Member Services, Card Member Services, Student Services - these are the aliases that they have used, so far, with me. Frankly, I'm not stupid enough to believe that a credit card company (or related) would call me unless they were doing something questionable. Once I know who they are, I just hang up and add their latest numbers to the "do not answer" list on my devices.
When I get these calls it is a recording telling me that I am eligible to have my credit card interest rates lowered. It claims that this is my final reminder. I wish that were true. I have tried to speak to a person to have my numbered removed from their list, but whenever you say you want to be removed, they hang up and the calls continue. I get this call several times a week, and have for several months. You would think they would remove the number themselve to avoid wasting their time, but they don't
