Unknown caller. when you answer the caller hangs up. Call back you get "you were in a servery, but the time has expired, press 1 to remove your self from the list"
This happen to me about 3 weeks ago. I press 1 and still getting calls.
Yet another call from this fake political survey--actually scam organization trying to get peoples' information. I did not answer, and can't afford to have my paltry cell phone minutes wasted on crooks like these. Please shut them down. I selected "prank call" from the menu below, because there was no option for "scam" or "criminals pretending to be political survey companies." There seriously should be the option "scam" or such-like, because none of the other choices are correct. So "prank call" was the closest to true available.
Caller ID actually says YAHO not yahoo as has been reported.
They claim to be doing a survey. - Surveys and charities are waived from having to use the do not call list. Complain to your congressional leaders about that.\
I've read news articles where companies will have a 1-3 question survey before going into a sales pitch for some product or service. This is just one loophole in the law about the do-not-call list.
Looks like it's time to break out the telezapper for a few days so the computers take the number off their lists.
