Some guy called. He left a message. The message was all broken up. Said to have my attorney call him right away in a rather demanding voice. First of all if I have some kind of problem with the IRS I am sure I will get some kind of paper in the mail. Don't fall for their crap. They are just trying to get money from you. Waste of time.
This number called me 2X today. I answered the second call, and there was a Indian sounding lady. Slow to even start talking. She asked for me by name and said she was from a government business in Washington which she was struggling to even say. When I asked what this was regarding... She hung up the phone!
360-533-7349 these people just don't get it....they call my phone all the time. Finally yesterday i decided to answer and i get some guy with a really think accent asking to speak to of all people ME! I asked who was calling and he proceed to tell me he was from the United States Treasury Department and I had been awarded a grant. My response "seriously? you need to stop calling me because you aren't from the Treasury Department I can assure you if the United States Treasury wants to talk to me about something they'll send me a letter! Now stop calling me!" and hung up.
So what happens this morning a call comes in from the same number and we go thru the whole asking for me etc. This time however he doesn't tell me he's from the United States Treasury but just tell's me i've been selected for a life time grant and am i interested. Being my facetious self I said "sure why not" and then hear the little jerk mumble under his accented breath "i don't think you really are" but started asking me questions about myself.......after about 2 questions i stopped him and told him i was so over this crapp and they need to stop calling me. Just wondering if they'll try again tommorrow.
When I paid five dollars a year to be on the Florida no call list, it actually worked. Now that it is free it is useless. I just got the same 360 number and no message.i had a 90 year old home care client tell used to keep a whistle by the phone and used to use it.
