Some guy called. He left a message. The message was all broken up. Said to have my attorney call him right away in a rather demanding voice. First of all if I have some kind of problem with the IRS I am sure I will get some kind of paper in the mail. Don't fall for their crap. They are just trying to get money from you. Waste of time.
I spoke to this individual and he knew my name, address and phone number. Asked for my birthday and I refused to give it because of the scams out there. When I told him I would be verifying this information and confirmed his phone number and requested a call back to his direct line to confirm information, he hung up. Are people really still stupid enough to give these people credit card numbers? So irritating that people that work so hard to have a decent life are always having their earnings taken by somebody else. Unreal!
I too am constantly getting calls from this number and if I must piggy back on what has already been said on this message board then so be it. It is annoying as he'll and a bit frightening...be causes at the end of the day one can not be sure what could be their objective, no one has ever answered when I pick up the call,,,straight silence....definitely make you feel uneasy...
