my brother receive a voice mail its automatic voice mail i think its scam but some time like 45 min then he was arrested by officer some time its correct
Just received a phone call from "IRS" saying they were bringing a lawsuit against me. It was a "robotic" recording. Have received these calls in the past who have told me that the police would be at my home to arrest me within the next 30 min. One time I called the number they left and the person on the other side answered the phone "IRS". No directory or anything!
I got the same phone call today! I had a man with a thick Indian accent yelling at me telling me I own the IRS $5000 there was a warrant out for my arrest and the IRS is taking me to court! I was at work when I receive this call I told him I did not know what he was talking about I do not owe the IRS money he started yelling at me and told me the police were on the way to arrest me I hung up the phone, scary part is I don't think I gave him anything except for my name which is very generic and there is thousands of people with my same name, nor did he even get to the part of asking me for money he was just screaming at me telling me I had a warrant out for my arrest and I was being sued by the IRS?!?! Lucky for me it was just before my lunch hour, so I called the IRS apparently they are aware of this scam they looked at my information and gave me the Department of treasury scam website to fill out an online complaint form, this company needs to be shut down!!! I am a law abiding taxpaying US citizen I do not need to be harassed at work about something I would have no idea whether it's would be true or not, since I pay my taxes I did not know the IRS would not call me if mail was not delivered or opened etc! But after waiting on hold for over an hour to speak with someone at the IRS I got my lesson today they will never call you everything is done by mail, would've been nice to not get this lesson during work hours!!
