I re-registered on the 'National Do Not Call Registry' on May 1st but am still getting these annoying phone calls. I have since used my Caller ID, when I see who it is from I don't pick up. It seems like I am getting more calls now than I did before. This is just one of many. I am going to start sending this message everytime I get a call like this. Thank you
Senior citizen come-on. Get $3000 worth of grocery certificates plus a free medical alert. They've been calling me daily for a while so I decided to answer. I didn't wait for the recording to finish before hanging up. Gees. so tired of all these unsolicited calls

The sickest of robo-calling criminals, attempting identity theft of poor, ill elderly, con'ing them with false promises of $3000 in free groceries and a medical alert bracelet.
Beverly, the 'National Do Not Call Registry' is a complete failure at best, and at this rate, no evidence exists to dispel allegations that this 'government agency' is not part-and-parcel of the powerful direct marketing lobby, in collusion with these sick people who are truly a pox on the face of today's society. An ordinary person would respect someone's request and think not to bother someone on the 'National Do Not Call Registry', but the way this disease operates, "At least we know we have a live one on the other end of the line!" For instance, Why is telemarketing legal at all? It is theft, using someone else's property and time against their will, causing unlawful duress... Note, somehow the Direct Marketing Association has legal sanction to commit extortion -- charge you a few dollars a year to (supposedly) stop their minions from dumping an endless slew of trash on your doorstep through the postal service....
