Was called numerous times. Didn't answer. Final on September 18 two massages were left ( one at 9:40 and one at 1:22 ) on my answering machine saying that it was a notice from the legal department Internal Revenue Services to inform me that I am being sued by IRS and I should press 1 or call (253) 655-4868. Ridiculous !!!
My Mother received a call from this number. She was asked to press 1. They asked for someone with my last name. She told them they had the wrong number, and hung up. She let me know. This sounds like a total scam. If someone was being sued. You would be notified via mail! They actually called her number again later today. I deleted the number. This is very annoying!
Yup. Looks like a scam to me. The IRS dose not make threatening calls via recording. Do not answer and do not call them back. Report to the IRS. They will appreciate your help catching these jerks.

Got a voice mail saying that we are being sued by IRS. Press 1 to speak to the agent of this case etc... It's definitely a scam. IRS would have sent an official letter instead of a voicemail had it been the real case.
