VM stating "there is a (garbled) against your name. Please call.." I called back, man with Indian accent said he was from internal Revenue Service and wanted my name to resolve the issue...that I didn't have much time left" Then i googled the number - appears to be a scam
I too received a call from that number today. Male voice with an Indian accent stating that he was representing IRS and inquiring about complaints regarding my taxes. I knew from all the news on tv and internet what was going on. This is the second time in 3 months, I've received a call like that.
I just got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he is with the IRS and is suing me and needed my social security number and date of birth the number shows it's from Ridgefield, WA. I said to him suing me for what? The IRS isn't in Ridgefield WA.? He said he was coming after me and quickly hung up? Saying some nonsense about tax fraud? He's the fraud.
