I received the same call as B. Micu. Message on answering machine stated that the call was from the IRS and that I was being sued by them. Tried to return the call a few times to see what they had to say and I kept getting a message saying that "Your call did not go through. Please try your call again."
Got a automated call stating that they were from the IRS and that there was fraud associated with our information. And to please call back and verify information. IRS never calls you...
I received a call from an individual stating they were with the internal revenue service and that I owed taxes from 2009. I pay my taxes every year. They said if I did not pay them immediately they would send the authorities to my house. This is a scam do not give them any info
The irs called and said we needed to settle a legal matter. I'm a student and don't deal with the government at all. Total scam, please no one give them money. This is so sad that they are taking advantage of unsuspecting people!
