Called my office. I answered and the caller said: "Yeah is (insert business owner name here) still there?" I politely told him that "He is not in the office right now, is there something I can help you with?" and then the caller said "No, I will call back" and then hung up.
Not professional at all. I do not think he is calling for business matters but cannot be sure as he brief and then hung up.
Caller identified himself as Mr. John Rich (really I am NOT making that up), wanted speak to the owner. When pressed for information he mumbled something about a clinical/social welfare group (sounded almost exactly like Mush Mouth from Fat Albert) and it was a civil call not a business solicitation.
At this point my B.S. meter redlined, and told him (politely) to [***].

When you call back, you get an automated number stating that they are conducting a fund raising. However, I couldn't find any information about the group on the Washington Secretary of State website about the so-called charity calling me from 360-813-0119 so I think it is probably a scam.
