I recieved a few calls this week from this # on my cell, no msgs left. Called it back today, got an automated msg, doesnt say who or where I called, but says if you would like your # removed from our call list, please enter you telephone #. I did, then it had me confirm the #, and stated I would be removed from the list within so many days....guessing its just a telemarketer...
I have been getting calls multiple times a day for over two weeks now. When I called the number back there was some cheap recording that says service verification and to enter your number onto their do not call list. I entered my number and a few seconds later it wiped out my entire contact list....scary... and voice mails left from other legitimate numbers now display as this number? And like other have stated I still continue to get calls. I have not answered one of these calls yet they all have been voice mails. I am nervous to answer their calls directly....what if it wipes out my entire iphone? BEWARE!!!!!! Don't call them back....hopefully they will stop calling.
they need to shut down the company or people that are doing this. i am on the do not call list and are still getting these calls, they need to find out who they are and prosecute them for violating the governments do not call list.
Have received 4+ calls starting around 7/30/12. There is a delay, then a recorded message: "This is a verification from Verifast." After a moment, the call ends. No person comes on. I suspect some sort of fishing expedition.
