I recieved a few calls this week from this # on my cell, no msgs left. Called it back today, got an automated msg, doesnt say who or where I called, but says if you would like your # removed from our call list, please enter you telephone #. I did, then it had me confirm the #, and stated I would be removed from the list within so many days....guessing its just a telemarketer...
I use comcast for my home service. I log into my account, go to preferences, go to call blocking and add their number to the list. END of calls from this number period!!!! If you really think your taking your number off the list, you are mistaken. You are only confirming that it is a legit number and they will now sell it to others as confirmed. It takes less time to block them forever and you have not confirmed anything except that your phone will not ring again from that number. Try it.
I just received a call from this number and since I don't answer out of state calls, I didn't answer. They left a VM but it was intelligible. And reading some of the comments above, I'll not call them back or answer the call. My number is on the DNC list.
I've been getting calls from this number too, but I was afraid that giving anyone my number would in fact verify me as a real person so I didn't want to manually input it. I found Ver-A-Fast's number -- (440) 331-9962, called them and spoke to Sue who was very helpful. She said it would take a couple days to be put on their do not call list, but I'll update here if this has not happened after a few days.
Never give away your phone number online. People pay lots of money for a number even if they're not 100% sure it's a real person.
