David Morris call with the same information as the others. He just had to much of my information. I was to call The Secretary of the Department of Treasury about $10,000 Grant Money and to pickup before 7pm with ID #. I know this is a scam.
• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, a car from a caller, or a grant from a gracious government ◄- ◄- ◄- ◄- ◄-
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or a different famous software company, or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you Vanilla Card, MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Geeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites, or a statement that your computer is infected.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!
• The number you see on your Caller ID may not be the number of the person who called you!

I (Brenda's Husband) work for the Department of Energy and I can tell you that the Government is more involved in taking your money then it is handing out money(unless it will get someone elected)NOVATEL. Don't misunderstand; I love my country but when a woman with an Asian accent "CALLS" to give my disabled wife $10,000.00 on behalf of the US Government I'm comfortable with filing that call into the DOO DOO box!
I got a call saying I have a grant from the federal government for 10,000. Says I pay250.00 for fees and I get 10,000.00 from wrstern union gave me a certifacation # im sure this is a scam
Received a call from a man (with very poor communication skills) from 212-777-4321 who identified himself from the US Treasury grant department and I have been picked to receive a $10,000 Loyalty Grant. I would not have to repay this grant and could use the money however I wanted. Gave me an ID # and told me to call 360 851 1356 to claim my money.
