missed call Oct 23 in Calgary Alberta

Automated message asked if I would consent to put an alarm company sign in my front yard...said there is a home break in every 15 seconds

Got to calls from this number at 9:10 am and 9:23 am thank God for caller id.

Got a call at 1:10 p.m. today from this number. I too am in BC. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers.

Recording saying "The FBI reports a home break in every 15 minutes, if you consent to a small sign put in your front yard, we will install an alarm system at no cost. There is no charge for the installation or equipment".

Yeah right, if this is legitimate, they get their money back from the monthly monitoring fee that they don't mention. Also why is a company selling to Canadians quoting the FBI?
