This company is from Vancouver. They keep calling. I have pressed the button to take me off the list, but that seems not to have worked. I am registered with the do not call list. Today I decided to pretend to want their product, which initially uses a scare tactic. The FBI reports that there is a large number of break ins ...... then says if they are allowed to place a small sign in your yard they will install home security system for FREE! It makes me sick to think of the elderly or those who scare easily that have fallen for this.
Regardless I am sure it will surprise no one that the person hung up on me when I expressed my frustration at being on their list.
The scammers are changing their approach it appears - people ignoring calls with only city & state on the id, so now they enter a fake name - id showed "McClurg, Mark". Just an attempt to get people to answer. So now I guess I stop answering all calls unless I see a name or number I recognize.
So they call me in Canada about the FBI reporting a large number of breakins. Glad to know the FBI is tracking the property crime situation in a foreign country.
People must still give business to these scammers.
