I received a call from this number (360) 967-5371. The caller ID showed "Disable Police". The man on the phone asked for donation to help disable police and their families. I google and it links this number to Shoreline Police Department so I called their non-emergency number to find out it is a scam or not.
They confirmed that it is a SCAM and they are aware of it. Somehow this person stimulated the phone number to look like it belongs to Shoreline Police Department, but it does not.
So please don't give any donations to this scammer. He said he'll take your credit card information or personal check information over the phone.
Also using 253-237-7002 & 425-880-7867. I can count on them being my fist call of the day. Don't answer but will probably report them to the FCC for breaking the :"Do Not Call" listing.
