Caller id said "ALTAMONT". The lady on the phone was had a very foreign accent and I would not understand her. Finally understood she was looking for the "manager of the business". Then she hung up. Seemed like a scam call.
My wife and I come home from work every day, and there is always missed calls. They never leave a message. They keep calling and keep calling. If they called once, and never called back again, I would be with fine it. But this is not the case. They call and call and call again. This annoys the crap out of me. Not so much my wife.
I like most of you, I am sure, am on the do not call list. To no avail. I have reported violations time and again but nothing happens.
The constitution guarantees every American, certain unalienable rights, including "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness". The terrorists behind these calls deny me my right to happiness.
If there is a hell, these people have earned their front row seat.
Caller does not leave message. When we returned the call, automative robo call: To remove our number from their list, would take days, etc. Dubious upon the end of the recorded message. Will note whether that number calls again. We will report to the FCC immediately. Calling all times of day and night, often interrupting calls we are making around dinnertime and nap time.
No name displayed on the caller ID but I answered as I didn't have glasses on and a woman told me I had won something. I said I was going to block this number from getting thru and report them immediately to the FCC.
I am adding this a 3rd time for Caller ID of Altamont since I started logging the calls on this site their phone # 385-203-8134 just called again. This time I answered but no one responded on their side. I waited until they hung up with no response. Obviously calling back there number to be removed did nothing.
