Called twice in one day. Never leaves message

They call but as soon as someone answers they hang up.   They have called twice each day over the last two days.

Person called claiming to be with a survey agency. I demanded to know how they got my number and the caller hung up.

They call in the evening,7:40 p.m. .No  one spoke  when I picked up the phone. Caller I D shows SSI.
What the heck do they want? Scammers trying to rip people off.

They called me twice tonight.  Left NO message.  I Googled "SSI" and I got "Supplemental Security Income"......
