Called landline. Left no message. CID displayed BCOUTREACH. These are CRIMINALS calling my home. Bottom line, they want personal information so they can profit from their call. Area code Utah. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited calls. A legitimate caller will leave a message with their name, company name and valid call back number. This is never done. Scammers phishing for information, spoofing numbers, and trying to victimize people and part them from their money. Not a legitimate caller. Call ignored.
assuming this was for the Breast Cancer Outreach robo call again - just a different #. Calling my work # everyday. Wish they would stop. If I'm going to donate anything I will donate directly with the organization - NOT through a telemarketer call!!!!
I knew it was a scam but I played along to see how far they would go. Told them I support breast cancer research and would be willing to donate $25. They said great, and asked for my credit card number. Told them I do not use credit cards, but would send a check if they would send me a request by mail. They said how about just $15? I said why are you now asking me for less than I offered? They said they want to make it easy for me to just use my credit card. I said did you not understand when I told you I do not use credit cards? They said I could use a debit card. I said you apparently did not understand when I offered to send a check if you would send me a request in the mail, and I hung up as she was still talking about the ease of using credit or debit cards.
