Some lady with a foreign accent called our office asking to speak with the manager. I asked if this was regarding a job that we were doing and she said yes. I asked for the job address and she said our address. I asked if it was commercial or residential and she said commercial. I asked what company she was calling from and I couldn't understand her... "something" Financial. She kept asking to speak to the manager. I kept pestering her for job details. She sighed and asked again for the manager. I asked what she needed from the manager and she wouldn't tell me. I hung up. Waste of time!
Dead air when we answered (harvesting numbers?). This place (IMS) is Interactive Marketing Solutions, and according to my research this they are FEDERAL FINANCIAL who has pestered us without end. IMS has also called us from 385-249-1873, and others have noted 385-249-3335 to be one of their numbers.
Based on the above, it's safe to assume they own the phone numbers 385-249-1264 through 385-249-3335, at a minimum.
I did not answer but the answering machine picked up a lot of background noise like from a call center, woman said hello a few times and then did not leave a message or hang up the phone so there was about a minute of background talking.
I received a call just now from 385-249-1264. A woman asking to speak with the manager and when I told her she would first need to identify herself she tried, but her accent was heavy and her enunciation was poor. When I asked her for the third time to tell me the company name she was calling from she hung up. Something about financial assistance.
