Ally's calling about credit cards

I am so sick of these people calling everyday around 5:00 in the afternoon..I have my number added to the do not call list and what good does it freaking do,,,NOTHING...they hang up before I even get the words out to remove my number...so damn frustrated..I DON'T EVEN OWN ANY CREDIT CARDS..!!!
