Cell phone call call on 13 March from these scumbags. It's an illegal robocall that seems to begin soon after the phone is "answered" by my outgoing voicemail message; the robovoice has such a long message it left a few words in my voicemail :
"We have medical alert system... we have a system waiting to be shipped out to you. Press 1 now to receive your personal medical alert system. Again press 1 now to receive your personal medical alert system. Press 9 to opt out.
Same old "Free Medical Alert System" scam - new fake number.
I have heard this same recorded robo-pitch numerous times over the years.
Remember - "you don't even have to qualify since I have already been referred by a friend or family member".
You may (or may not) actually get a (cheap) device that may or may not work, but there is an activation fee and a steep monthly fee that is nearly impossible to stop. The Feds and some States (like Florida) have put these criminals out of business in the past, but they pop up within weeks in a new town with a new name and new fake phone number.
