they keep calling from this number asking for my sisternlaw...number is a scam because everytime i call back they either don't answer or don't give me any information. plus my sister n law has never ever put me down as a reference anywhere. STUPID SCAMMERS!!

There is their information. They tried to tell me the statute of limitations in florida on a credit card debt is 7 years. She then acted all condenscending like she was an attorney and I was a peon. She also said they would continue to call us repeatedly until we paid. Good luck with that considering you got a cease and desist fax and mailed to you. Oh yah lying is also a violation of the FDCPA. Received a call from this number today. a man saying he was from a law firm and wanted my social security number. He declined my offer to have him call my attorney to verify who I am.
Got a message from "Cody" from "Chad Stewart Law Offices" saying they had important legal information for "Jay," and it was very important that either I call them back or get them in touch with "Jay." I don't know anyone named Jay and they never even said my last name or "Jay's" last name. I think this is most definitely a scam. They're just finding information about us online and hoping it triggers something so we'll give them a call back.
