It's the same Russian-sounding gentleman who called a while back about the free RAM upgrade I could downloaded from his site. I did that and I got no RAM upgrade, but instead my laptop froze and wanted bit coins to decrypt my files!!! It would also take light coins, but I don't have any bit coins or light coins!
This was the "Lower your credit card interest rate" scum, calling in violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. Usually, after pressing 1 for an operator, I can keep these folks on for 10 - 15 minutes, giving bogus CC#, age, email and whatever else they want. This time, however, the heavily-accented female in the busy call center, seemed really harried, even asking me to read the numbers faster! She hung up after I gave her the second bogus CC#. GREAT WORK folks - this means that they are getting hyper sensitive to those of us who punk them to waste their time, and soon they'll be hanging up on actual suckers who just talk slow or misread their card number. Shouldn't be too long before they find their business unprofitable and just fade away...I was trying to get her to lower her panties but no such luck.
