This number from New Smyrna, Fl calls my home phone about twice a week. They called again this morning and I answered the phone. No one spoke. Why would some bottom feeding company call peoples homes and not even leave a message? I don;t get it. And this is after I registered with the do-not-call list.
Same thing happened to me just now. Pressed 1 to speak with someone, asked (very politely) the name of their company and was told "Account Services." When I told her there were better things in life to be than a petty thief, she hung up.
In the grand scheme of things this has no effect, but maybe she'll hear my words again when she next looks in the mirror.
Received on 10/03/08 at 1:04. Automated message selling a lower credit card rate. I pressed '1' to speak with a service representative. I was told the name of the company was "Account Services."
Some message about lower interest rates from "account services".
Pressed 1 just for kicks.
Operator asked "did you press 1 for lower interest rates?"
And, when I answered yes, hung up.
I guess they're profiling for more vulnerable people - maybe elderly, i dont know.
