Received call from this number today. All I could get out of the string of words a man spoke (he had a very thick possibly Indian accent) was "Steve" and even that I am unsure of. I said" Can't understand you" and hung up.
One minute later, the same person called again (I did recognize the voice tone). I said "Sir, take me off your call list" and hung up.
Just got a call from a man by the name of John Smith, with deep accent, Indian I think, stating the call was for my medical compensation and he was calling from Medical Health Plan Center in Florida and asked about me having an IUD implant. I started asking questions and he got really rude asking why i was questioning him. John Smith??? I don't think so,,,.. I hung up and dialed the number from a land line and got recording that the number I dialed was not in service and to try again. So can anyone tell me what this National DO NOT CALL list is for, I registered my cell number months ago and I am still getting these kind of calls. Oh!! BYW the number he gave me and also showed up on my cell phone is (386) 490-8984.
Just saw on my phone that this # called me. Since my ringtone is on silent, I do not hear my phone ring, and am able to verify if the # is another scam by coming to this website. Besides, I don't answer any calls with numbers I don't recognize. They didn't leave a msg anyway, so must have not been that important. Figured its another scammer.
