Same thing. Call received, automated at first to tell me that I could reduce my interest rate, then pressed 1 to speak with an agent because this offer was expiring today. The guy with an accent answered and asked me about my visa and mastercard account(s). I told him I had 2 Mastercards and one Visa. The Mastercards are from the same bank but the Visa isn't, I didn't tell him this but he said he could reduce all three of them. He was going to look up some account information when the line went dead. I didn't get him any account numbers or banking information and decided to try and call the number back and just get a busy signal. No doubt, he is "scamming" on another person.
I didn't give him any personal information either, no name, address, nothing! I've only had my cards two months but didn't tell him. He had said that I had been making payments for more than 5 or 6 months on time. Uh.....Not correct! lol
I just got a call on my cell phone from 386-590-9199. The guy had a very heavt accent and was very rude when I said I had no credit cards and then he hung up. I tried calling the number back but it said it was a wrong number.
