Nobo create a contact such as "scammer" then when you get a call like this add them to the scammer contact. (note I'm assuming you have a smart phone) Then download Zedge (it's free) find the silent ringtone on Zedge and assign it to the scammer contact. Problem solved if you phone only vibrates (and you don't have it set to do so) then it's a scammer and can be ignored. Of course the slime changes numbers often so your scammer contact will be rather large but it's worth it.
Our first call from these crooks. We have had the 401 area code blocked for over a year - our phones did not ring.
Regardless, we don't answer unknown/out-of-area calls - ever!
Called at 3:32pm. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo). Second number (both spoofed — i.e., fake) using this Caller ID, same old credit card rate pitch, no doubt.
Same here. Left a prerecorded message about lowering interest rates. Like with the last 300, I added that # to the auto reject list. I know they're spoofing, but eventually the rotate numbers. :/
