Wanting to find out who this was calling me all the time, and at the same time...wishing NOT to expose myself further by using my own phone number, I secured my OWN spoof number and called them. The number answered and played a recorded message, repeatedly, asking me to press one to be removed from their call list. But, since I used my OWN spoofed number, pressing one would not have done anything. Eventually...it disconnected. Double Drat! My plot had been foiled. Well played, spammers, well played.
I keep getting calls from this number and others in every area code imaginable. No one answers when I say hello to any of them so I'm assuming they're linked. If I don't answer and dial the number back, the first option is to be removed from the call list. I have no idea what company it is, and no one has EVER spoken. I need my number deleted from this company across the board from all different area codes. I have a 704 area code, but reside in Hawaii, so my phone rings at 0200 waking me up every morning. This needs to stop. What can I do?
